Introducing Wayne White, the driving force behind Wild West Events and the unmistakable voice of Hell on Hooves. From a young age, Wayne's heart belonged to the cowboy way of life, and he pursued that dream with unwavering determination. Hailing from Oregon, he set out at 18 to live the cowboy lifestyle, working on ranches and competing in rodeos until duty called him to serve in the Vietnam War with the United States Army.
Upon his return, Wayne resumed his passion for rodeo, this time as a bull rider in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. It was during this exhilarating chapter of his life that he met his beloved wife, Evie, at a rodeo dance. Together, they crisscrossed the country, chasing the rodeo circuit from the South's winter arenas to the West's summer runs.
Transitioning from bull riding, Wayne found a new calling as a Rodeo Announcer. In 1982, he captivated his audiences with his first rodeo announcing in Oregon, launching a career that soared to great heights. With a string of Announcer of the Year awards and accolades from numerous Rodeo Associations, Wayne's voice became synonymous with rodeo in the Pacific Northwest.
As a Gold Card Member of the PRCA, Wayne embodies the essence of cowboy spirit and tradition. With his patriotic "Love of Country" speeches and his iconic tagline, "You Gotta Be Tough Just to Watch," resonate deeply with rodeo enthusiasts far and wide.
Wayne White is more than just a voice; he's the face and spirit of Hell on Hooves, an enduring icon in the world of rodeo. His legacy as a cowboy and announcer is etched in the hearts of many, a testament to his indelible mark on the Western landscape.
